Barry Lofgren's rink took home first place in the Main event of the 77th Annual Men's Bonspiel this past weekend. Games got underway Friday between the Willow Park Curling Club and the Uptown Curling Club with the finals being played on Sunday at Willow Park. Lofgren's rink defeated Gogal in the the HBMS and Flin Flon Insurance event. Event B Ð the KFC and Ginnell Bauman Watt event Ð saw Levers take home the gold over McLuckie while Munson earned the top spot in the Stittco Energy Limited and Pharmasave event over the Holmes rink. And the final event Ð the North of 53 Consumers Co-op Ð had Gourlay in first over the Wall rink.
