After a year of post-production, a documentary on the Flin Flon Bombers will be screened in Flin Flon.
“Flin Flon: A Hockey Town” was shot during last year’s SJHL season and chronicles part of the team’s run to the Canalta Cup finals. The film features game footage from last year’s Free Ticket Night game against La Ronge – an 11-0 Bomber win – as well as behind-the-scenes features and interviews with players, coaches, staff, longtime fans and local luminaries.
The Bombers will hold four "friends and family" screenings of the film - two on Jan. 31 and two on Feb. 7, each at the Hapnot theatre. Showings will be at 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm.
A trailer for the documentary is available online. A screening of the documentary was held earlier this season for players and their families.
