Snoman Inc. (Snowmobilers of Manitoba) is pleased to announce Manitoba received two national awards from the Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations (CCSO) June 12, 2010 at the International Snowmobile Congress in Coralville, Iowa. The CCSO Excellence Awards recognize exceptional contributions to the recreational activity of snowmobiling across Canada. The CCSO is dedicated to providing leadership and support to organized snowmobiling in Canada. Snoman Inc. is very proud to announce the CCSO Excellence Award for Outstanding Snowmobiler across Canada was awarded to Dwayne Wenger, Border Explorers Snowmobile Club, Flin Flon, Manitoba. The CCSO Excellence Award for Outstanding Snowmobile Dealership across Canada was awarded to Sobetski Enterprises, Beausejour. Wenger was recognized for distinguishment in the areas of volunteerism, leadership, safety, promotion and community outreach for snowmobiling in Manitoba, with significant contributions and remarkable efforts towards the promotion and responsibility within the snowmobile community. Wenger was nominated by Shelly and John Trumbley of Border Explorers Snowmobile Club to win the Provincial Snoman Inc. Excellence Awards, with his nomination being forwarded to the CCSO level by Snoman Inc. Sobetski Enterprises was recognized for their exceptional customer and after-sales service, superior technical knowledge, superlative efforts and significant contributions to promote the recreational activity of snowmobiling, and strong ties to their local snowmobile clubs. Sobetski Enterprises was nominated by their local snowmobile club, the Brokenhead Trail Blazers, winning the Provincial Snoman Inc. Excellence Award, with their nomination being forwarded to the CCSO level by Snoman Inc. The CCSO Excellence Awards were presented June 12, 2010 at the 42nd International Snowmobile Congress (ISC) in Coralville, Iowa. ISC is an international snowmobiling event that brings together over 400 delegates from Canada, the United States, Sweden and Russia; attending are delegates in the snowmobiling industry such as the International Snowmobile Manufacturer Association, national, regional, provincial and state associations and organizations and snowmobile administrators. Jeff Sobetski from Sobetski Enterprises, Beausejour attended the international event in Iowa to accept the Outstanding Dealership Excellence Award and was able to meet many delegates from the ISC. "All of us here at Sobetski Enterprises are thrilled and very honored to accept this award. It is a symbol of our dedication to the recreational activity of snowmobiling and the snowmobilers themselves. "We have been very proud to serve the snowmobiling community for the past 22 years and plan to continue our dedication to snowmobilers. Over the years we have made many close friends that share our same passion for snowmobiling. "It is these friendships we have made that make it easy to support the recreational activity of snowmobiling and to support the clubs they belong to," said Karen, Jeff and Lori Sobetski.
