TSN has announced that Dauphin will host the supper-hour episode of SportsCentre on Aug. 28 with anchors Darren Dutchyshen and Jennifer Hedger recapping the day's events. It's one of 10 communities across Canada that will host the program this month as part of the Kraft Celebration Tour in honour of TSN's 25th anniversary. As an added bonus, each community will receive $25,000 from Kraft Canada for recreation-related improvements. Dauphin will spend its share on new soccer and rugby fields for its sportsplex. The host communities were selected through an online voting process that saw 1.6 million virtual ballots cast. "We are absolutely overwhelmed by the response to the Kraft Celebration Tour," said TSN President Phil King. "All of the nominees and winning communities have demonstrated to Canadians their tremendous community spirit and commitment to development in sports.
