To celebrate National School Library Day, the librarian at McIsaac School Ecole McIsaac, Mrs. Reed, transformed the library into a campsite for the week from October 22 - October 26. The different areas she created for the students to read in were: two four-person tents, a cabana with camp chairs, two air mattresses, a long box for two to read in with a flashlight, a large box for one, and a fort under a table where two people could read with a flashlight. She also put a huge parachute over the top of the story pit with a mini tent inside. Every day, classes visited the library and students could read in one of these many areas. Before we went to the library the students in our class chose which area we would like to read in. Lots uf us switched around once we got there and saw all the different areas. Some people thought it was cool. I think everyone had fun camping in the library.
