Your Dollar Store With More and the Flin Flon Bombers are teaming up to show off the team's new bus and to raise money for the club. The bus will be parked outside Your Dollar Store With More next Wednesday, Sept. 18, from 3-7 p.m., giving the public a chance to go inside and take a look around. A barbecue will help generate funds for the team, as will a raffle. 'Anyone who donates $40 or more, their name is going to be entered into a raffle for an opportunity to join the team on one road game,' said head coach and GM Mike Reagan. Next week's fundraiser is geared toward helping the Bombers raise money for their fuel costs in the 2013-14 season. 'That's going to be a great fundraiser for us,' said Reagan. Cathy Lofgren of Your Dollar Store With More hopes that their kickoff of the Fuel the Bomber Season will encourage other businesses to hold their own barbecues with the bus. 'It's an opportunity for the public to see the bus up close and personal and to go inside,' said Reagan. Lofgren hopes to see plenty of people out to help support the hockey club. 'Come by and have a hot dog and a drink. All proceeds go to the Flin Flon Bombers,' she said.
