Kyle Holmes and Andrew Skrabek will have to watch the final regular season game from the sidelines tonight, as both received one-game suspensions for recieving their fourth misconduct penalty in Wednesday night's 4-2 loss to the La Ronge Ice Wolves. The loss ended a three-game winning streak for the Bombers, who have a record of 16-28-12-3 heading into the final game of the season on Friday. La Ronge scored three goals in the first period and added another one early in the second period to jump out to a 4-0 lead. Doug Exner scored at 10:49, and Donovan Hall scored back-to-back at 14:09 on a power play and again at 19:55. TJ Schneider made it 4-0 at 6:48 of the second period, before Flin Flon got back in the game with a pair of power-play goals. Bob Graham scored his first goal as a Flin Flon Bomber at 9:36 from Anatoliy Moshkovsky and Derek Blais. Moshkovsky scored his tenth goal of the season for Flin Flon at 15:10 with Blais and Joe Gori assisting. The Ice Wovles out shot the Bombers 50-40, scoring one power-play goal on eight chances, while the Bombers scored twice on six tries with the extra attacker. Paul Reimer made 46 saves for Flin Flon, while Krag Kuczynski stopped 38 shots for the win. The Wolves and Bombers will close out the regular season tonight at the Whitney Forum.
