The La Ronge Ice Wolves have formally announced they will not be renewing the contract of Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Larry Wintoneak for the 2004/05 SJHL season. Wintoneak took over the club in May of 2002. Prior to joining the Ice Wolves Larry was a Junior 'A' head coach in Dryden, Ont. (SIJHL) and Flin Flon, MB. In two full season with La Ronge, Wintoneak posted a .413 winning percentage with 40 wins, 61 losses, 13 ties, and 6 overtime losses in 120 games. The Ice Wolves wish Larry the best of luck in his future endeavors. The search for a new head coach will commence immediately.
