The 73rd Annual Flin Flon Ladies Bonspiel is set for March 11 to 13 with a couple of fun events added to this year's spiel. The Northland Ford Hot Shot Event will be held on the Friday night. This is a team event that will feature the hit and roll, double take-out, draw, and a straight hit. Also, the Flin Flon Insurance Event will be held on the Saturday night, and will be a draw to the button contest. There will be four events in this year's spiel, sponsored by Pharmasave, HBMS, Nordmark and Faktor's. "The committee has worked hard to organize the prizes," commented bonspiel chairperson Bev Dutcawich. "The new fun events will also have some great prizes, and is something for all the curlers to participate in."
