Ladies Night July 20 was a great night for golf. Warm and enough breeze to keep most of the bugs away and to cool down once in a while. There were 63 ladies on this night, teeing off. Darcy changed the format a little and gave the prizes to the lowest scoring and the highest scoring foursome. D. Johnston, T. Anderson, T. Slugoski and L. Salahub were low with a 38. The high went to a foursome of beginners, L. Brown, K. Schwartz, L. Lowe and C. Adams. L. Chretien won the gift certificate. A random drawing of names was made for the remaining balls. Next Ladies Night is July 27. Ladies Mingle July 22 had 18 ladies on the fairways. A different format was played. The total strokes to the green was won by D. Myden, G. Martinot, V. Nelson with 111. Lowest total putts was won by R. Watt, G. Lethbridge and D. Wellman with 55. Next Mingle is Thursday, July 29, 8:30 a.m. at the Club House. The next tournament some of us can look forward to is the Seniors Open on Sunday, August 8 with shotgun start at 10 a.m.
