The lady medalist tournament was held Sunday, June 20 in the rain. There were 17 ladies starting but only 16 finished the 18 holes. J. Maitland was declared winner with a gross score of 89. Runner-up was C. Quinn with 95. Net scores were calculated for the flights. First flight: first R. Rideout with 70, second M. Quesnel 73, third L. Chretien 76 on a countback, A. Wiebe also 76, V. McLean 78, D. Chilson 81, F. Curtis 82 on a countback. Second flight: first D. Nelson 82 on countback, second A. McEachern 83, third S. Sproxton 86, M. Aden 87, S. Cardell 88, M. Lone 94, D. Wellman 97. The Ladies Open is scheduled for July 18, shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. If there are any ladies who would like to help out, please contact Kelly at the Pro Shop or Donna Nelson. Ladies Night on June 22 there were 78 ladies for curler/golf. Some were lucky, some got caught in the rain. Prize for the curling team were L. Salahub, R. Mansell, and D. Flynn. Reibin Agencies donated a Sask. sweater which was won by P. Bloxom. The gift certificate of $78 was won by Y. Davis. First flight winners were D. Therien, S. Helm, F. Reibin and M. Winton with 39. Second flight winners were the Reitlo foursome with 41. Third flight winners were S. Sproxton, J. Freeborn, Stacey Freeborn and P. Donaldson with 44. Fourth flight winners were J. Black, R. Watt, D.
