August 28 marked the ladies' closing day tournament at the Phantom Lake Golf Course. Although the course was wet, wet, wet, the weather cooperated for the 21 ladies taking part. No carts were allowed. Championship Flight 1st - J. Maitland 90 2nd - C. Quinn 95 3rd - D. Nelson 97 First Flight 1st - S. Sproxton C/B 2nd - S. Russell 3rd - A. McEachern Second Flight 1st - K. Hanson 2nd - M. Aden 3rd - G. Lethbridge. Ladies night, August 30, the course was still wet but better than Sunday. There were 55 ladies out for a great night of golf. Names were drawn for a variety of prizes. The 50/50 ticket number was 297926 and the winner was not in attendance. Next ladies night is Tuesday, September 6. Ladies mingle September 1 was again canceled due to weather. Next mingle Thursday, September 8, clubhouse 8:30 a.m., weather permitting.
