The Creighton Kodiaks started off strong with a win over Frontier Collegiate in their annual Kit Klassic basketball tournament.
This past weekend saw the Kodiaks remain in the A side pool of the draw with a second win over Hudson Bay to advance to the A side finals.
Sandy Bay, which recently picked up a new coach for their team, took first place in the tournament with a win over the Kodiaks.
Creighton B, the school’s second team entered in the eight-team draw, didn’t fare as well, finishing last in the B side pool with a loss against Frontier Collegiate.
Naicam defeated Stobart in the B side finals as Frontier Collegiate was matched against Creighton B for the seventh place finish.
Hudson Bay took third place in the A side pool with a win over Nipawin.
