Loading their mini bus Thursday afternoon, the Track and Field team from Creighton Community School was on their way to Prince Albert for provincials. Events got started this morning and continue until tomorrow evening. The Kodiaks will appear in 25 different events Ð potentially Ð with 12 athletes. Last years' provincial weekend proved to be a good stepping stone for the fairly new team as one athlete, Danny Suchaplus, earned a banner and a few teammates earned ribbons. This year, the athletes hope to continue on with their success and bring home a few more honours. The following athletes are attending the Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association's Track and Field Provincials in Prince Albert this weekend: Loyd Kawa Morgan Grant Becky McDonald Danny Suchaplus Brett Ferguson Roddy Sewap Carson MacKonka Cory Dupre Brooke Knutson Kristal Kawa David Anaka The Kodiaks, who will be participating in the North East division, will be participating in a number of running events as well as three throwing events and one jumping event.
