A losing record usually isn't good, but when the Creighton Kodiaks senior girls basketball team finished 1-2 in a tournament in Canora, SK, coach Tammy Cool is fine with it. Actually, Cool is more than just fine. "I was very happy with how the team played," she said. Cool liked how her team controlled the ball and played as a team and their efforts didn't go unnoticed as other coaches gave positive comments. The Kodiaks won their final game against Langenburg 33-26. Top scorers were Meagan Abele with 10 points, Jordan King had nine, Nicole Moberly with seven and Brooke Knuston had six. King was also the top rebounder. In the first game, the Kodiaks lost to Duck Lake 45-29. Meagan Abele was the top scorer with 12 points while Jillian Story had six. Their top rebounder was Brooke Knuston. The Kodiaks lost the second game 46-23 versus Esterhazy. Brooke Knuston had nine points while Nicole Moberly had six. Brooke had the most rebounds.
