The Anavet Cup Champion Kindersley Klippers took a day off on Monday in order to prepare for the upcoming Royal Bank Cup tournament, starting Saturday, May 8 in Grande Prairie. The Klippers won't have much time to prepare for the tournament, where they will attempt to defend the Royal Bank Cup for the SJHL, which currently belongs to the 2003 Humboldt Broncos. Kindersley opens up the 2004 Royal Bank Cup against the host Grande Prairie Storm on Saturday evening, May 8 at 7:30 pm. The Klippers second game is on Monday, May 10 at 2 p.m. against the CJHL Nepean Raiders. Game three is against the Aurora Tigers of the OPJAHL on Wednesday, May 12 at 2 p.m. and game four is on Thursday May 13 at 7:30 p.m. against the Nanaimo Clippers of the BCHL.
