Kelly Carrington Staff Writer Some of the top wrestlers in the province, from the elementary to the high school level, will compete in Flin Flon this coming weekend. The Hapnot Kings and Kweens will welcome fellow wrestlers to the Flin Flon Community Hall this coming weekend for Provincials. Through the Manitoba Amateur Wrestling Association (MAWA), athletes from the Flin Flon area as well as Winnipeg, Morden, Peguis, Cross, Lake, The Pas, and Cranberry Portage will compete for the medals. Friday night, the athletes will weigh in while referees attend a clinic. Matches will start Saturday morning at the Community Hall. The hall provides space for spectators to watch their friends, peers, siblings, children and grandchildren take on their opponents.
