Hapnot Collegiate Institute's senior Kopper Kings squad lost the consolation final to C. Beliveau 61-60 during a recent tournament. In their first game, they lost to PCI by a score of 71-50 then defeated Carberry 73-30. Coach Tony Ticzon felt his team played well and likes the direction they are headed, but feels they need to improve getting back in the defensive zone quicker and defending the 3-point line. The team will be playing in Thompson this weekend without Ian Clark and Jessie Koehnlein.
