Thanks to the Frontier Collegiate Raiders, the Hapnot Collegiate Kopper Kings soccer team are going to provincials. The Raiders are unable to go and the Kings will take their spot. Steve Lytwyn, co-coach of the Kings along with Tony Ticzon, was pleased with his teams' second place finish during Zone 11 competition in The Pas. "Everything went pretty well," Lytwyn said of his young team. Lytwyn is taking the approach that playing in the provincials will be a learning experience for a team comprised mostly of Grade nine athletes. The team went 3-1 during their round robin and defeated Joe A. Ross in an emotional game to play in the final, before losing to the Raiders.
