With Easter a little earlier this year, the in motion Easter egg hunt was also moved up, as it had been with the Spring Break activities before. But the earlier date didnÕt seem to bother the 100-some children who showed up for the hunt, their prizes and the different games to participate in, along with the family skate. Children ages two to nine spent their Sunday, March 16, lurking the grounds of the Creighton Sportex for those bright colourful eggs, which were redeemed for in motion prizes such as skipping ropes, basket ball games, purses, doodle pads, giant easter pencils, easter bunny lip gloss, saber light yo-yos, sea erchant and water snakes. But the biggest surprise, aside from the Easter Bunny himself, was finding the hidden egg, which was good for a gift certificate from WalMart and a game. The older children who made their way to the event could be found on the ice, taking their last opportunity to skate at the rink for this year, as the ice was taken out last week.
