On Saturday Jan. 28, the Creighton Karate Club travelled to The Pas for the Northern Regional's Karate Tournament. We sent 10 competitors and seven of these were first time competitors. The club exceeded everyone's expectations by bringing home 12 medals. The top four in every event qualify for provincials in April. I would like to thank parents for there support also the coaches Jeff Henderson and Jim Fleuty and a big thank you to Yolanda Brooks and Neil and Ellen Richardson for their help on the sidelines.
