The local junior high volleyball season winds up this weekend with a tournament in The Pas on November 27. This week the top teams will be in action as local playoffs take place. Here are the final league standings, heading into the playoffs: Boys Ruth Betts, 13-5 Cranberry Portage, 13-5 McIsaac, 10-8 Creighton, 5-10 Parkdale, 4-11 Girls McIsaac C, 17-7 Parkdale A, 16-8 Cranberry Portage, 16-8 McIsaac A, 15-9 McIsaac B, 11-13 Parkdale B, 11-13 Creighton A, 10-14 Creighton B, 6-18 Ruth Betts, 5-19 In girls action this week, Cranberry Portage played Parkdale A and McIsaac A played McIsaac C on Monday. The winners will play in the final on Wednesday. In boys action, Parkdale will play Creighton in the consolation today. Also on Tuesday, McIsaac and Cranberry Portage will play to determine who will meet Ruth Betts in the final on Thursday.
