The Yorkton Terriers evened their best of seven series with the Estevan Bruins on Sunday night, shutting them out 3-0. The series is now tied at 1-1. Todd Rusnak scored the only goal of the first period at 8:10. Lance Herauf scored goal at the 6:51 mark of the second period, and again at 17:59 of the third period. The Terriers out shot the Bruins 32-22 in front of 2,020 fans in Yorkton. Estevan and Yorkton combined to go 0/21 on the power play. In the MJHL, the Portage Terriers are the first team through to the finals, eliminating the Neepawa Natives in four games by winning 6-2 on Sunday. Also on Sunday, the Selkirk Steelers have forced game seven with a 6-2 win over the Winnipeg South Blues. The deciding game will be played tonight.
