On Wednesday night, the Kindersley Klippers handed the Humboldt Broncos a 5-3 loss. Justin Wilchynski and Jason Fleck had two goals each for the Klippers. Kindersley improved to 3-3 in preseason action, while Humboldt fell to 3-2. The Notre Dame Hounds scored three times in the third period to edge the visiting Melville Millionaires 4-3. The win improved Notre Dame's record to 6-1, while Melville dropped to 2-3-1 The Yorkton Terriers hosted the Dauphin Kings, and beat them 5-3. Justin Keller led the way for the Terriers with two goals. Yorkton stayed above the 500 mark with the win, improving to 4-3. The MJHL season begins tonight with the Neepawa Natives at Portage Terriers and Winkler Flyers at Selkirk Steelers.
