The Junior High volleyball season wrapped up last week, with finals on Wednesday and Thursday and a tournament in The Pas on Saturday. In girls playoff action, Parkdale defeated Cranberry Portage in the finals. After losing the first game 25-16, Parkdale came back with 25-10 and 25-23 wins. In boys action, McIsaac took three sets to beat Ruth Betts, winning 27-26, losing 25-23 and taking the third game 15-13. At the tournament in The Pas, the Parkdale girls emerged as the champions in the 16 team field, beating Scott Bateman of The Pas in the finals. In the boys finals, Ruth Betts came in second, losing in the finals to Swan River.
