Although the Johnston team is a new entry to the Roller Goodwin Family Hockey Tournament, they are not without Roller Goodwin experience. At least half the team has been scavenged from their competitor's castoffs. Goaltending will be handled by Dave "Creaks When Walking", Wade "Junior", and Lance "Mugzy" - all Johnstons. Still, with all three in goal, the puck will get by a few dozen times over the weekend. Junior keeps close to his roots at the Whitney Forum all winter still in pursuit of the Men's Rec Hockey title after all this time. Dave's been honing his skills against 70 somethings in Winnipeg over the past few years, while Lance has brought Flin Flon's brand of hockey along with a couple others to the wilds of Florida's west coast. They will depend heavily on "Donnie Brasco" Njegovan and Marvin "Diesel" Dease for some much needed scoring punch. Donnie's been dodging bullets on the ice in New York City while Deisel is a perennial favourite of his competition in the Flin Flon Mine Tournaments. Diesel and Old Creaky also bring offspring into the lineup to take the burden off of some old legs. Deisel brings Ryan "87 Octane" and Creaky has Alex "Whack like Lacrosse." Jamie Webber, although familiar with the Sportex penalty box, will put a couple on the board for the Johnston team. There are APB's out on Derek "Ole" Ohlsen, Ken Jaszan, Wayne "Rubble" Dease, as well as a couple others. It's not believed they can either score or keep the puck out of their own net, but apres hockey will be considerably more enjoyable.
