Kelly Carrington Staff Writer Former Flin Flon Bomber Andrew Johnston has made a verbal commitment to play Division 1 NCAA Hockey for the 2012-13 season. Verbally committing to Union University in Schenectady, New York, the forward brings some impressive stats to the table. Last season, the Beaver Creek, SK, native earned 66 points in 57 games with the Bombers in the regular season. In the playoffs, Johnston added another nine points in nine games. The 20-year-old joins two other SJHL alumni: former Bomber Jean Sebastian Bergeron and former Yorkton Terrier Greg Coburn.7/13/2011
