The Flin Flon Jets flew away with an 11-0 win over the Pharmasave Sabres on Saturday. The Jets were simply too much to handle during Atom League action as they never lost their hunger to score. "Our team played really well, passed the puck around really well," says Glen Muench, co-coach of the Jets. "The other team's goaltending was very good, it could have been a lot more lopsided." Chase Pabianek made several key saves for Pharmasave in the game. "Pretty good," says Chase on his performance. He was also impressed with the way the Jets played. "They pass lots, their coach picked lots of good plays," he says. Chase says his team needed to pass more and take less penalties for better results. The Sabres gave a valiant effort to make the game closer. Two of their best chances came in the latter part of the game; unfortunately, Jets goalie Aaron Morran was in position to preserve his shutout as one shot partially hit his mask. Once the final whistle blew, the Jets raced from their bench to the ice to congratulate their goalie.
