Jesse East's bike trek across Canada is nearing its conclusion. Jesse was in Halifax earlier this week, and hopes to be in Newfoundland by the weekend. His riding and fundraising partner Linda had an accident and was forced to return home, but Jesse and Kazuko Fujisawa are still on the trail, and were joined by professional rider Jason Leach. Jesse is riding across Canada to raise money for the fight against Arthritis. He is raising the funds necessary to join the Joints in Motion team. Currently, tickets are being sold for a raffle on Jesse's behalf in Flin Flon. Tickets are available at various locations around town.
