The Flin Flon Bombers are bringing back a popular fundraiser in order to raise money to pay for team jackets. The Flin Flon Bombers Jail 'n' Bail will be held on Thursday, October 30 from 1-9 p.m. at the Creighton Community Hall. "We were looking for a fundraising idea to get jackets and wind pants for the players," said coach Ryan Hoffman. "We wanted it to be something that the players could participate in, and we came up with the idea for a jail 'n' bail." Players will be selling warrants until Thursday, and you can also purchase them by calling the Bomber office at 687-4404. These warrants will entitle you to have someone arrested. Upon arrest, the accused will be brought to the jail at Creighton Community Hall, where they will attempt to raise bail, set by honorable Judge Rob Hart. People that make bail donations will receive game tickets and meal vouchers based on the size of their donation. Bomber players will be delivering the tickets and meal vouchers and collecting the bail money. "It's a chance for the players to do a little work and get out in the community to meet people," said Hoffman. "People that make donations will get something back based on the amount of their donations. For us, it allows us to raise some money and help the players out with jackets and pants."
