Flin Flon and Humboldt will once again face off in the Itech Conference Finals. The Bombers advanced to the finals by sweeping the Melfort Mustangs in the first round. At the time of the Bombers' win, the Humboldt Broncos and the Battlefords Northstars were still playing their series. Though it was suspected the Maroon and White would face the Broncos, nothing was for certain. The Broncos and Northstars had a close series to start with things tied 2-2, but it was the Broncos who came out on top 4-2 for the win. As of press time, no date had been decided for when the series between Flin Flon and Humboldt will begin. Head coach and GM Mike Reagan was unavailable for comment.
