The Reminder, in partnership with Murray Dunn GM in The Pas, will be starting a Local Athletes spotlight to run twice a month. The spotlight will profile a local athlete who has excelled. The athlete could be someone who scored their first goal in Hockey D or someone who won a gold medal for the province. The Reminder is asking the public to keep their eyes open for athletes doing what they do best. The spotlight will profile the athlete and explain why they were chosen as well as a few extra tidbits like their favourite athlete, pre-game rituals and future goals.
