Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The Flin Flon Atom AA Bombers welcomed The Pas Huskies to their Jason Morran Memorial Tournament this past weekend, but had hoped for a better outcome. Taking fourth place in the round-robin standings, after three games, the Bombers found themselves against the Thompson Miners in the Bronze medal game Sunday afternoon. An 8-3 upset left the Bombers empty-handed as the Miners took third place in the hometown tournament , held at the Whitney Forum. The Pas and Swan Valley battled in a close game for the Gold as the Huskies came out on top for the win. The Bombers fought but couldn't come up with the wins they needed to get their name on the trophy.
