Hapnot Collegiate's first house league challenge of the year will take place at the school today. Every student and staff member in the school has been placed on one of four teams: yellow, orange green and blue. Today the teams will engage in the Gym Blast, a high energy event that will pit strategy against strength as the four teams battle for top points. Throughout the year, there will be various events that test patience, athletics, scholastics and team/school spirit. At the end of the year, the team with the most points will be awarded a prize. An assembly was held at the school on Monday to introduce students to the new student council. The first point of the year were given out in two mini-games. In the first game, two team members of each color had to dress a third team member in clothes of their team colour. The twist Ð the clothes came right out of the deep-freeze and had to be thawed out before they could wear them. In the second event, teachers participated in a balloon popping relay.
