This weekend was the men's turn to show their stuff in the Ford Hot Shots competition. On Saturday afternoon, 11 teams signed up to do just that! The teams were awarded points depending on where the rocks ended up in the house for the required shot. Each team had to have at least three players participating and the rock thrower had to determine before play what turn he would use to make all the shots. One person held the broom and there could be two sweepers if the team wanted. After the last rock had been thrown, the Brian Darling team, with Brian throwing the rocks, Bryan Rainville sweeping and Henry Kozar holding the broom out shot their nearest competition, the McLuckie team with Randy Matzer throwing the stones and Dave Kendall sweeping and Grant McLuckie holding the broom, by two points. There was a tie for third with Jason Levers and T. Lofgren.
