In the tradition of covering world-class sporting events, CBC Sports is proud to be the host broadcaster for hockey at Torino 2006 Ð The Olympic Games.Ê The men's ice hockey tournament at Turin takes place from Feb. 15 Ð 26 and will feature cream of the crop players from the NHL and the top 12 hockey nations.Ê ÊTorino 2006 marks the third consecutive Olympic Games participation by NHL players. On April 21, 2006, the 2006 NHL Playoffs begin.Ê CBC'S Hockey Night in Canada will offer viewers full coverage of all the Canadian teams' games and exclusive Canadian coverage of one of the most popular and thrilling events of the year, the Stanley Cup Final.
