The three Flin Flon Novice teams travelled to The Pas to participate in the 11th Annual Hercules Tournament Jan 6 - 8. All the teams played well and the players had a lot of fun. Each team played a minimum of four games throughout the weekend. The A-Side final was played by the Flin Flon Canadians and The Pas Canadians (all-girl team). It was a great game that was determined by a seven player shoot-out. The Flin Flon Canadians took the win at 3-2. Swan River Colts came in 3rd in the A-final after a loss to Flin Flon Canadians. The Flin Flon Firemen beat the Hudson Bay Hunters in the B-Side final 5 - 4. It was an end to end game that was very entertaining. OCN Mighty Ducks beat The Pas Redwings in the C-Final 6-4. Norway House won the D-Side final against the Flin Flon McKeens in a shoot-out 6-5. Swan River Broncos defeated The Pas White Knights in the E-Final, 8-2. and the F-Final was played by The Pas Black Hawks and Thompson with The Pas Black Hawks winning 10-0.
