On Wednesday, June 1 69 individuals participated in the Hearts In Motion Fun Fit Walk promoting the Hearts In Motion Uptown Walking Loop. After opening ceremony remarks from local "active living champion" and city counselor, Nazir Ahmad, and Hearts In Motion Pathway Committee member Marj McNeill, individuals enjoyed the sunny weather on the 2km scenic walk that took in local sites and points of interest. Six local businesses took part in the Fun, Fit Walk Business Challenge. Special congratulations goes out to the Flin Flon General Hospital Pharmacy Department who had 75% staff participation. Individuals wanting more information on the three local Hearts In Motion Pathways can contact their local Parks and Recreation office in Flin Flon and Creighton, or the NOR-MAN RHA at 687-1332. Brochures are located at various businesses throughout Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach.
