The 47-year-old goaltending legend had hoped to return to the NHL this season _ back when it looked like there might still be a season. With no end in sight to the league-wide lockout, not a single team offered the Dominator a contract. On Tuesday, Hasek told Sport, a Czech newspaper, that it is 'very unlikely' he will play again. A six-time Vezina winner, Hasek first retired from the NHL in 2002 but later made a comeback and retired again in 2008.
