Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The Hapnot Kings recently brought home the senior volleyball banner from The Pas. The Kings were undefeated in the zone championship the weekend of Nov. 9 and maintained a perfect 4-0 record. Hapnot defeated The Pas, Thompson, and Cross Lake. In the finals, the Kings downed The Pas 25-17, 25-17 for the banner. Next weekend, the Kings are off to Ille de Chenne, Man., for the provincial championships. This marks the third consecutive year the Kings have made it to the provincials. 'We have played all of the teams in the top 10 and feel very confident that we could achieve a top four finish, or better,' said coach Craig McIntosh.
