Hapnot Collegiate hosted the first senior volleyball tournament of the season this past weekend. Both the Hapnot Kings and Kweens did extremely well, winning their pool in the round robin and advancing to the playoffs. The girls advanced straight to the finals, while the boys had to go through a semi-final first. The Kings met Norway House in the semi-final, and beat them 25-21 and 25-16 to advance. In the other semi, Thompson defeated Otter Nelson River 25-11 and 25-14 to advance. In the final, Thompson won the first game 25-22, but Hapnot came back with a convincing 25-16 victory in the second. In the third and final game, it was Thompson over Flin Flon 15-13. The girls met Swan River in the finals, where they came up short 25-22 and 25-23.
