Hapnot Collegiate did so well during zones in Norway House that two teams qualified for provincials in Thompson. Unfortunately, one doubles team instead of two will represent the school in Thompson this weekend as the team left on Thursday. The team of Jason Fehr and Nick Hamilton will go as they placed third, while Kirsten Clark and Lynsie Swain qualified, but due to other commitments will stay behind. In mixed doubles, Tara Abbott and Dan Dowell lost in semi-final action. Justine Rodnisky and Riley Bergen also made the quarter-finals, while Jake Rogers and Shilo Baribeau made the quarter-finals for singles. Hapnot coach Rob Abbott said he was very impressed with his team and there is some "real potential for next year. "They really performed above themselves," he said.
