Hapnot Collegiate's badminton season ended with strong showings at their own tournament on April 16 and 17, as well as the Zone 11 Championships in Thompson this past weekend. A total of 107 entries participated in the Hapnot tournament, with action at the high school as well as McIsaac School. Schools competing were Margaret Barbour (MBCI), Frontier Collegiate (FCI), Norway House (NHHS), Joe A. Ross (JARS), Chief Sam Cook (CSCS) and the host from Hapnot (HCI). Top finishers for Hapnot included: - Brittany Brown, 4th place in Senior Girls Singles - Camille Limoges and Shaleen Baribeau, finished in a three-way tie for first place after round robin, but lost the tie breaker and did not advance to the playoff round - Scott LeMaistre and Danny Halpin, finished fourth in the Senior Boys Doubles - Amanda Porras and Jennifer Lam, finished fourth place in Junior Girls Doubles - Steve Collins and Nikki Asmus, finished second in the Junior Mixed Doubles.
