Hapnot Collegiate held elections for positions on the 2003-04 Athletic Council on Wednesday. Danny Halpin is the new president, while Kate Rood is the new vice president. Secretary/treasurer is Britt Brown, while Scott LeMaistre and Michelle Pettersen are the public relations representatives. Eric Kendrick is the Grade 12 rep, Rob Moore is the Grade 11 rep and Ian Clark is the Grade 10 rep. The Grade 9 rep is still open. The Athletic Council works with the coaches, phys-ed staff and administration at Hapnot to serve the athletes of the student body. They organize pep rallies, tournaments, hold fundraisers and are in charge of the year-end athletic banquet.
