Kelly Carrington Staff Writer Six members of Flinty's Gymnasts took Thompson by storm as they all brought home medals and ribbons from the fun meet last weekend. Exclusively Thompson and Flin Flon girls, the athletes competed in bars, beam, floor and vault. From Flin Flon, Eden Dickens, Shayna Mucha, Nevada Shirran, Tieryn Steele, Danielle Labine and Sarah Morrison competed. The girls brought home the following medals and ribbons: Eden Dickens, third overall Silver - Vault Bronze - Beam, Bars, Floor Shayna Mucha, second overall Silver - Bars, Floor Bronze - Vault, Beam Nevada Shirran, second overall Gold - Floor Silver - Bars, Vault Tieryn Steele, second overall Gold - Floor Silver - Beam, Vault, Bars Danielle Labine, second overall Gold - Floor Silver - Vault, Bars Bronze - Beam Sarah Morrison, third overall Gold - Beam Bronze - Floor, Vault, Bars Coaches Casey Ranks, Sheena Reed and Mihaela Craciun accompanied the athletes to Thompson. In keeping with the fun, informal nature of the event, parents were the judges of the gymnasts in the one-day competition. Flinty's Gymnasts will host their Family and Friends Night on Monday, April 30.
