Conditions were ideal for Sunday's Revival Loppet. The track was firm, the sun shone, there was only a light breeze, and the temperature was around Ð20C. The 17 participants included one from Regina and six from Cumberland House. Three skiers completed the three laps (18 kilometres) Ð fastest was Nyall Oberg (1:32:31.5), second was Daryl Brown (1:43:16.8), and third was an ailing Duane Davis (1:54:12.3). The fastest over two laps (13 kilometres) was Cumberland House skier Terry Carriere (1:03:57.9). The fastest lady over one lap (7.5 kilometres) was Kara Plamondon, and the youngest skiers to complete the one lap course were Sam Dufour Jarvis of Flin Flon and Cumberland skier Lionel McKenzie Ð both 11 years-old. There were a lot of smiling faces in the chalet following the event Ð in part due to the excellent food supplied by concession staff led by Sylvie Dufour. The Ski Club appreciates all the volunteer officials who contributed to the success of this event. The next big event out at the Ski Club will be the 30th annual Centaloppet on Sunday, February 20, starting on Ross Lake at 2 p.m. Revival Loppet results 7.5 km Kara Plamondon, Flin Flon - 1:21:10.5 Sam Dufour Jarvis, Flin Flon - 1:20:53.6 Isaac Dufour Jarvis, Flin Flon - DNF Bob Jarvis, Flin Flon - 1:32:15.7 Nadine Penney, Flin Flon - 1:39:36.7 Lionel McKenzie, Cumberland House - 47:19.4 13km Larry Linnick, Flin Flon - 1:40:23.9 Robin Tod, Regina - 2:13:44.3 Murray Grimes, Flin Flon - 2:14:30.9 Cody McKay, Cumberland House - 1:15:01.4 Colton Kingfisher, Cumberland House - 1:40:29.6 Terry Carriere, Cumberland House - 1:03:57.9 Gerald Bear, Cumberland House - 1:15:07.6 Dennis Fossey, Cumberland House - 1:19:12.9 18km Nyall Oberg, Flin Flon - 1:32:31.5 Daryl Brown, Flin Flon - 1:43:16.8 Duane Davis , Flin Flon - 1:54:12.3
