This past Sunday, with a temperature of minus seven, 35 skiers made their way to Ross Lake for the 33rd Annual Centaloppet. With a fresh coat of power on the trails, skiers were in for a treat as they took off in a mass start at 2 p.m. Skiers ranged in age from under a year, who were pulled by their parents, to those in their sixties. The four kilometer track proved to be a race for some, while others took their time across the finish line. Results from the 33rd Annual Centaloppet are as follows: With a corrected time, the first five skiers were Kendra Suss, 6, in first, Kyla Suss, 9, in second, Ron Black, 61, in third, Callum Spencer, 13, in fourth and Daryl Brown, 48, in fifth place. With actual times, the first five to cross the line were Daryl Brown, 48, with a time of (minutes:seconds) 15:51, Callum Spencer, 13, 17:38, Ron Black, 61,18:37, Dean Grove, 49, 22:24 and Jenna Rudd, 16, 24:04.
