It felt like the first nice day Flin Flon has seen in a while. Why not spend it on the links? Residents, business owners and sponsors spent Friday afternoon on the greens of the Phantom Lake Golf Course for the Flin Flon Bombers' annual golf tournament. In total, 55 golfers were on the links. Not only were they aiming for their chance at a hole-in-one, but the golfers were having a good time just getting to know one another. "It was good," said Bomber head coach and GM Mike Reagan. "We didn't get the turnout that we were hoping for, but overall, the guys enjoyed themselves." This year, the organization decided to make all the holes a par 3, to give golfers a better chance at winning a prize or two. It was a trial period and Reagan says they will be putting it back to the Texas Scramble next year Ð where the holes will remain the par they always are.
