The Million Dollar Hole-In-One Contest is back in town, once again offering local golfers a chance to win some prizes, while at the same time supporting worthwhile projects. Hosted by the Rotary, Kinsmen and Lions clubs, the annual event takes place this week at the driving range near the Phantom Lake Golf Club. For $20, you get 30 balls to hit, with the pin set 85 yards away. Tuesday, July 19 through Thursday, July 21, the contest is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Friday and Saturday it will be open an hour later in the evening, till 9 p.m. Sunday, July 24 will see the playoffs take place with the semi-finals at noon and the finals at 2 p.m. So, come out and participate or just to cheer on your favorite golfer.
