Earning three of a possible four points against the SJHL’s top team has brought recognition for Zac Robidoux.
The Flin Flon Bombers netminder was named the SaskTel SJHL Goaltender of the Week for the period ending Nov. 8.
Robidoux, 19, got back-to-back starts against the Mustangs in their home-and-home series last week.
In the first game, Robidoux made 36 saves in a 4-3 win at the Whitney Forum. The next night, he was 24 seconds away from his first shutout of the season but was beaten on a goalmouth scramble and lost in a shootout.
Flin Flon acquired the Winnipeg native from the MJHL’s Portage Terriers in the offseason. He has a 4-5-0-0-3 record with a 2.93 goals-against average and a 0.912 save-percentage.
